Flotation process is the main processing method of various kinds of rock gold ore, which is used to treat the gold ore with poor sulphide, high sulphide gold deposit and associated polymetallic gold ore, and can be used to select the concentrate of gold sulphide ore effectively.In general, priority technological process is adopted, that is, direct flotation of gold-bearing sulphide ore. After obtaining qualified flotation gold concentrate, the process of recovery and treatment is carried out after one rough separation and several cleaning and cleaning processes.Flotation is beneficial to the comprehensive recovery of mineral resources.Flotation is an essential method for refractory gold and silver ores which are difficult to be mixed with mercury and cyanide.
The selection of flotation process is usually determined according to the properties of gold and silver ores and the specifications of the products. The common principle processes are as follows:
1、Flotation + flotation concentrate cyanidation After flotation of sulphide ore containing gold and silver ore, a small amount of concentrate was obtained and then cyanide treatment was carried out.Compared with the whole sludge cyanidation process, the flotation concentrate cyanidation has the advantages of not having to fine grind all the ore, saving power consumption, saving cyanide reagent, small workshop area, low capital investment and low operating cost, etc.
2、Flotation + flotation concentrate roasting + calcine cyanidation The process is commonly used to treat refractory gold - arsenic ores , gold - antimony ores and gold - pyrite with extremely high sulfide content , and the purpose of roasting is to remove elements such as arsenic , antimony , carbon and the like which are harmful to the cyanide process .
3、 mercury (gravity separation）+ flotation This method is suitable for the vein gold deposit with uneven thickness. The coarse gold is recovered by mercury (gravity separation) in the grinding loop and the fine gold is recovered by flotation.
4、Flotation of raw ore + cyanidation of tailings The copper lead zinc and other non-ferrous metals contained in the raw ore were first floated into the gold concentrate which reduced the content of the non-ferrous metal ore in the tailings improved the cyanidation process of the flotation tailings and reduced the amount of sodium cyanide.
5、Flotation + flotation concentrate fire treatment Most polymetallic sulphide ores containing gold and silver are treated in this way.In flotation, gold and silver enter the copper, lead and other concentrates closely associated with it, and then sent to the smelter for electrolytic refining to recover gold and silver.
6、Row ore cyanidation + cyanidation tailings flotation When gold and silver co-existing with sulfide in ore can not be completely recovered by cyanide process, the total recovery rate of gold and silver can be improved by flotation of cyanide slag.
